Dasan Station – Honest Review of Mom’s Touch Pizza & Chicken

I visited this location for the first time, and I was really impressed. The place was spotless, and everyone—from the owner to the part-timers—was super friendly. I’d only ever ordered delivery before, but dining in made a huge difference: the food was warm and definitely tasted better.

My husband had been craving about Mom’s Touch burgers since early morning, so we promptly put our diet plans on hold and headed over for a bite.

I’ve been a die-hard fan of Mom’s Touch since high school. I couldn’t get enough of the classic Ssai-burger (싸이버거) back then—the thick, juicy chicken patty blew me away. I used to even go there by myself just to indulge, and honestly, I’m pretty sure I owe at least five extra kilos to this place!

These days, I’ve switched up my order for the Unbelievable Burger—it literally has everything I love, from egg and shrimp to chicken. My only minor complaint is that I wish they’d offer an option to swap out the chicken breast for thigh meat. Sure, chicken breast is okay, but Mom’s Touch is all about that succulent dark meat!

Now, about Edward Lee’s Chicken… it wasn’t quite what I expected. They claim it’s coated with a whiskey-based sauce, but it ended up tasting more like the kind of chicken you’d find in a chicken-and-waffles brunch in the States—with a drizzle of maple syrup sweetness. For me, the sauce was a bit too sweet on its own, though my husband thought it was great. I can totally see it pairing perfectly with waffles, though!

Overall, the experience at Mom’s Touch Pizza & Chicken was fantastic. The clean atmosphere and friendly staff make it a spot I’ll definitely be returning to. The Unbelievable Burger is still as amazing as ever, and the classic SSai-burger (싸이버거) remains a true staple.
